Introduction of Daystar as Business of the Year
The Business of the Year award recognizes a Chamber member business in good standing that has demonstrated excellence in their business, has made substantial contributions to its industry, and has provided support to make a positive impact in the Rochester area. This year’s recipient has done this and more.
The five core values of our recipient are Integrity, Empowerment, Balance, Excellence, and Partnership, which are part of everything they do. Community and civic involvement are tightly woven into their company culture with owners and employees actively involved in our community, providing leadership, service, and educational programs to many local boards and organizations.
This year’s recipient is also a family-owned business. Celebrating their 25th year in business this year, this company demonstrates excellence throughout the regional business community and in their profession. They work with local businesses and beyond to educate and advise them on their IT solutions.
They have been recognized locally, regionally, and statewide. They hold certifications with national vendors, and their CEO is a member of a nationwide IT services provider peer network that meets regularly to share knowledge and best practices. They have also been honored by several national industry players. And we are pleased to honor them this evening.
